No results
Section titled “No results”If your query returns nothing, you’ll see: “No results found. Try adjusting your search or selecting fewer categories.”
Suggestions:
- Remove some category filters
- Check for typos
- Try broader search terms
- Use partial word matches (searching “ticket” finds “tickets” and “ticketing”)
Technical details
Section titled “Technical details”Search behavior
Section titled “Search behavior”- Case-insensitive: “Dashboard” and “dashboard” return the same results
- Partial matching: Searching “sale” matches “Sales Dashboard”, “Monthly Sales”, etc.
- Description matching: Descriptions are searchable for dashboards and widgets. When your query matches a description instead of the title, the result shows a snippet with the matching text highlighted in blue.
- Widget context: Widget results include the dashboard name. If the dashboard has no title, search shows
Untitled Dashboard.
Result snippets
Section titled “Result snippets”When a dashboard or widget result matches your search query in its description rather than its name, you’ll see a contextual snippet below the result title:
- The snippet shows the part of the description where your query matched
- Matching text appears in blue to help you spot why the result appeared
- Up to 80 characters display after the match, with an ellipsis (…) if there’s more content
This helps you understand why a result appeared when the match isn’t obvious from the title alone.
Performance
Section titled “Performance”- Searches execute in parallel across all categories
- Each search returns up to 50 results
- If you didn’t find the item you were looking for try narrowing down the search by category or adding more search characters
