Liongard Integration

This integration syncs your Liongard Roar data into Resplendent Data for reporting and dashboarding.

What you can sync:

  • Environments: Customer environments and metadata
  • Inspector Metrics: Metric datasets returned by your enabled inspectors

Before connecting, make sure you have:

  1. Liongard Roar access with permission to create or view API credentials
  2. Access Key ID
  3. Access Key Secret
  4. URL Prefix for your Liongard instance (for example: us1, us2, or ca1)

Step 1: Initiate the connection in Resplendent Data

  1. Log in to Resplendent Data
  2. Go to Data Settings → Integrations
  3. Find Liongard
  4. Click the three-dot menu on the Liongard tile
  5. Select New Connection

This opens the Liongard connection form.


Step 2: Generate API credentials in Liongard

  1. Log in to your Liongard instance
  2. Click your name in the top-right corner
  3. Select Account Settings
  4. In the left navigation, click Access Tokens
  5. Click Generate New Token and choose Liongard API Token
  6. Select an expiration period (for long-term use, choose Unlimited), then click Generate
  7. Copy and securely store:
    • Access Key ID
    • Access Key Secret

Step 3: Finalize the connection in Resplendent Data

Return to the Liongard connection form in Resplendent Data and complete the fields:

  1. Access Key ID
  2. Access Key Secret
  3. URL Prefix (the first part of your Liongard URL, for example: us1, eu1, ca1)
  4. Connection Title (for example: Liongard Primary)

URL Prefix example:

  • If your Liongard URL is https://us1.app.liongard.com, your URL Prefix is us1
  • If your Liongard URL is https://eu1.app.liongard.com, your URL Prefix is eu1

Click Save and Test. If successful, the status will show as connected.

Then click Sync Datasets and select the dataset(s) you want to start syncing.


Liongard dataset refresh defaults are currently set per dataset in the integration code:

  • Authentication failed
    • Recheck Access Key ID and Access Key Secret
    • Regenerate the key pair in Liongard and update credentials in Resplendent Data
  • Connection test fails
    • Confirm the URL Prefix matches your Roar instance
    • Make sure your Liongard credentials are active and not revoked
  • Expected datasets are missing
    • Confirm the inspector is enabled and returning data in Liongard
    • Run another sync after inspector changes
