Eric AI
Eric is Resplendent Data’s in-app AI assistant. He can search the datasets you already have access to, explain results, remember company-specific terms, and help admins improve shared AI context over time.
What Eric can do

- Keep long-running work inside named conversations
- Use pinned context so a chat stays focused on specific data sources
- Propose company memory when it learns a reusable definition, formula, or reporting rule
- Help admins improve AI context for datasets, joins, and Modified Datasets
- Expose run-level debugging tools for admins
Where Eric appears

High-level flow
Section titled “High-level flow”- A user opens Eric and selects or creates a conversation.
- Eric checks onboarding status and loads the session history.
- The user can optionally pin context from datasets, joins, or Modified Datasets.
- Eric streams status updates, tool activity, and final answers back into the conversation.
- If Eric discovers a reusable company rule, he can offer to remember it for just the current chat or for the whole company.
- Admins can open deeper diagnostics when they need to understand how a run behaved.
Availability and defaults
Section titled “Availability and defaults”- Admins can access Eric by default.
- Staff and Members need the AI Chat Access feature permission turned on.
- AI Assistant settings are admin-only.
- AI Context Updates are separate from chat access and are meant for staff/admin users who maintain dataset context.
