Change Ticket Links from ConnectWise to MTX
If your ticket links currently open ConnectWise, you can update the dataset link configuration to open MTX instead.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need access to Data Settings → Datasets
- Your ConnectWise tickets dataset must already be synced
Update the ticket link destination
Section titled “Update the ticket link destination”- Go to Data Settings → Datasets
- In the search box, type Tickets and press Enter

- Open Tickets - Base

- Click the Link tool (chain icon)

- Delete the existing link configuration (the one pointing to ConnectWise)

- Click the Link tool again to create a new link

- In the URL field, enter:
https://mtx.link/

- Click Add Data

- Click Add Column

- Select Ticket # as the column to append to the URL

- Click Sync & Close

Verify the change
Section titled “Verify the change”After sync completes:
- Open any widget or table using the tickets dataset
- Click a ticket link
- Confirm it opens in MTX (not ConnectWise)
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Links still open ConnectWise: Reopen the Link tool and confirm the base URL is exactly
https://mtx.link/ - Links don’t open: Verify Ticket # is included in the link configuration and the dataset finished syncing
- Can’t edit dataset: Check your account role/permissions for Data Settings access
