Data handling

This page describes how Resplendent handles customer data in the product: what is synced, what happens on delete, and how Eric uses OpenAI.

When you sync a source, Resplendent only syncs and stores the objects/tables and columns you explicitly select. Columns that are not selected are not synced and are not visible to Resplendent.

See Datasets for how column selection works.

When you delete a dataset, it is deleted immediately and that information is removed from the system. Data synced from sources is not backed up. After a dataset is deleted there is no retained copy of that synced data, except where retention is required by law.

Deleting a dataset does not delete your account, company profile, or other account information.

Resplendent does not use the contents of synced datasets for marketing.

Eric and other AI features use OpenAI with a zero data retention relationship. Customer data is not used to train OpenAI models.
